Our history

Starting from the processing of the oil bearing seeds for oil manufacture, the cereals and oil bearing products storage and trade, Agricover has extended its activity in agribusiness, enabling the contact between the large processors and the farmers and providing security to both parties.

Since 2000, when the company was established as a result of the merger between S.C. Comcereal Buzău SA and S.C. Ulvex SA Buzău, Agricover has continued to diversify its products and services in the agricultural field, consolidating over time its partnership relations with the farmers.

In 2007, Agricover sold the Oil Division and decided to entirely focus on agribusiness, a field with a high potential, considering the environment favorable to the development of agriculture in the general context of economic growth and EU integration.
