Agricover – DAAS Partnership
In 2009, Agricover Group associated with Danish Agricultural Advisory Service, a European market leader in agriculture consultancy.
The outcomes of the partnership consist in two entities:
- a joint venture company for agricultural consultancy – AgroAdvice
- FEDAR – a rural and agricultural development support foundation in Romania
The two entities support Romanian farmers to optimize their activity, increase their profitability and competitivity on the European Union market, and access European funding and implement the projects thus funded.
“The Romanian agriculture has a huge potential and we plan to bring it to life due to the Danish Agricultural Advisory Service (DAAS) experience in advising the farmers in many European countries, experience that will complete Agricover Group’s local expertise”, says Ejnar Schultz, Deputy Managing Director DAAS.
“Agricover Group gathers almost 10 years of activity on the local market and implements a business model that allows us to be the only Romanian provider of all-inclusive solutions for agriculture. Our partnership with an organization like DAAS, which owns an extensive experience across Europe, increases once more the level of expertise we can offer to the Romanian farmers through the both new established entities, and this will contribute to the agriculture development in its entirety”, Jabbar Kanani concluded.
