The right seed for success!

Agricover produces and provides farmers with certified seeds, both for the spring campaign (sunflower, durum wheat, peas, two-rowed barley, corn, soybean), as well as for the autumn campaign (wheat, durum wheat, barley, malting barley, rapeseed, triticale).

Every year Agricover conducts tests on different varieties and hybrids, both in own farms and at partner farms, as well as in research stations. Our objective is to select and introduce new varieties and hybrids in our portfolio, adjusted to pedoclimate conditions in Romania, able to competitively meet Romanian farmers’ productivity requirements, as well as the quality expected by the processing industry.

Agricover seeds qualities are also certified by top positions received in specialized producer ranking, Agricover being leader in certified imported genetic autumn and spring cereal seed supply.

Seed multiplication is conducted on approximately 9,600 ha, both in own farms and with partner farmers. In 2008, Romanian farmers have purchased and cultivated 13,743 ton of quality seeds provided by Agricover.
